So it is almost the end of MAIJ and here I am still trying to blog. Perhaps, because the end of a great year is over, I am feeling a sentimental itch to blog, and expose to the undiscerning lot out there, the brilliant (and not-so-brilliant) discourses with my j-school chaps over a pint of beer. Or maybe, it's because I'm turning 27 in two days, and I realize the world has gone mad. A few reasons why.... 1. because my house has become a dutch- indian warzone.  2. coz phil's new drinking partner is not simeon. surprise.  3. my dissertation is turning out to be the worst thing i've ever written. 4. on The Guardian: an ad of Europe's first masturbate-a-thon. (?!) 5. George Galloway strikes again. 6. because reuters photographers are now photoshop-ing their photos. portia [
